Company visit Van Osch Stable Equipment in Uden

Dutch Agribusiness Worldwide had the pleasure of visiting Van Osch Stable Equipment in Uden on 9 September 2026 for an interesting company visit.
At Van Osch Stable Equipment, we got an insight into the latest developments in livestock housing and management. With, among other things, their free-access farrowing pens, Van Osch is responding to the changing requirements and needs within pig farming. Providing space for the sow, animal welfare and practical applicability are key considerations.
The main theme of this meeting was Genetics × Housing & Management. Jascha Leenhouwers from Topigs Norsvin took us into the world of genetics. How is the genetic potential of pigs developing, and what does this mean for practice?
The combination of these two topics led to interesting discussions. Genetics and housing are separate topics, but ultimately come together in the daily practice of pig farming.
A big thank you to the team at Van Osch Stable Equipment for their warm welcome, the tour and for sharing their knowledge and experience.
And of course, many thanks to Jascha Leenhouwers from Topigs Norsvin for the interesting presentation and valuable insights.
Another great meeting with plenty of room for knowledge sharing, discussion and the question: are you getting the most out of what is already there?
