Who we are and what we do
Dutch Agribusiness Worldwide (DAW) is an international network that brings together companies from the Dutch agricultural sector. The driving force behind the organisation is Judith Verbruggen. With years of experience in organising (agricultural) events and study tours, she has built a strong network, both nationally and internationally.
Dutch Agribusiness Worldwide brings leading players together to share knowledge, build long-term partnerships and strengthen our collective position in the international market. By organising events and facilitating knowledge exchange, we work to establish valuable connections and cultivate long-lasting relationships between our members. Together, we strive for innovation and growth, so that as a collective we can respond to the opportunities and challenges in the global agricultural sector.

The role of the steering committee
The steering committee of Dutch Agribusiness Worldwide plays a central role in ensuring the progress and direction of the network. They are responsible for maintaining records and actively informing all DAW members about ongoing developments.
Additionally, they manage finances, prepare the annual financial statements, and provide a transparent evaluation of the past year. The formation of the steering committee changes periodically, with some companies stepping aside each year to make room for new members.
Activities of the steering committee
The tasks of the steering committee extend beyond mere organizational responsibilities. Each year, they draft a plan outlining meetings, events, and strategies for attracting new members. They also determine the conditions for participating and brainstorm on potential candidates who could add value to the network.
For every meeting, the steering committee prepares the agenda and takes the lead in discussions. Through their proactive approach, they establish a solid foundation for the growth and development of Dutch Agribusiness Worldwide.
